In addition to Story Time, we’ve added Volunteer Time - a way for KAESF to show some love by donating our time to The Food Depot.
why we volunteer
Hunger is a crisis in NM. It’s often hidden, but it affects 1 of every 6 people and 1 of every 4 children in our state. Every hour donated to The Food Depot by a volunteer means more dollars to spend providing meals to people in need.
What we do
We primarily sort donated food and repack food purchased in bulk into smaller packages to prepare food for distribution to people in need, helping The Food Depot stretch donation dollars and maximize product donations.
when we do it
Starting February 2020, we’ve gathered at The Food Depot the 2nd Thursday of each month from 1:30-4 PM. We’d love for you to join us, but space is limited, so reserve your spot through the link below. See you there!
